The chinese brand, Vphone, earlier this week took the wraps off its latest budget smartphone, X3, in China, posing a solid rugged body that comes certified with IP68 rating. According to the firm, the Vphone X3 is waterproof, dustproof, shockproof, freezeproof, scratchproof, high-temperature proof and pressure-proof. Besides it strong will to withstand nature extreme crisis, the phone also packs a highly rated battery capacity of 4,500mAh that can deliver up to two days of strong use in a single charge.
Specwise, the Vphone X3 features a 5.5-inch IPS capacitive display with a HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, alongside with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. It includes a 16GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and offers dual-SIM (Micro+Mini) functionality with dual standby. A 13-megapixel camera is equipped at the rear accompanied with a LED flash, while it sports a 5-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options onboard includes 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB.
The Vphone X3 measures 166.3×85.0x14.7mm and weighs 230 grams. It will be available in Black and Orange colours when it go on sale later this month. No word on pricing.
