Vivo has launched Y31A, its latest budget smartphone in China. The device is listed on the company webpage and is already available for order network carrier China Telecom at CNY 999 ($153 USD).

The Vivo Y31A features a 4.7-inch IPS display with qHD (960×540 pixels) resolution and pixel density of 234ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz, coupled with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 306GPU. The phone comes equipped with an 8GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

FunTouch OS 4.5 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop governs all software activities and there is two SIM slots onboard for dual usage. Sitting at the back is an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, while it sports a secondary 2-megapixel camera at the front. In connectivity aspect, the Vivo Y31A support 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, 2G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, FM radio and Micro-USB. It measures 137.2×68.7×8.3mm and weighs 141 grams. A 2,100mAh battery turn it on.

Earlier this month, Vivo launched XPlay5 Ultimate Edition, its first smartphone to packs 6GB of RAM. The device features 5.43-inch dual-edge QHD (2560p) display, Snapdragon 820 chipset, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
