The Korea tech company, Sony, has introduced a new portable short-throw projector in Japan named LSX-P1, that can beam an image or video of 100 Lumen from 22-inch up to 80-inch on a wall or any vertical surface with HD (1366 x 768 pixel) resolution.
Despite its compact size of 81x131x131mm and 980 grams weight, the Sony LSX-P1 is able to pack a built-in speaker and also offers Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth LE wireless connectivity that allow contents to be stream directly from WiFi and Bluetooth enabled devices e.g smartphone. Also, it includes an input HDMI port.

The projector uses the company’s Silicon X-tal Reflective Display (SXRD) technology for good visibility in an expose area and for ultra sharp image quality. According to Sony, its built-in battery can deliver up to two hours in a single charge.
The Sony LSX-P1 portable projector is priced JPY 93,000 ($784 USD) and will be available from the 13th of February in Japan.
