Finally, Lenovo has took the wrap off its long awaiting smartphone, the A5000. The budget was first unveiled earlier this month but is now official in India and it will start shipping from 30th of April. The Lenovo A5000 comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999 ($160 USD) as listed on the firm webpage. Pre-order opening will start today. Availability for international market is not yet known.
Specwise, the gadget features a 5-inch HD (720p) display with 300ppi pixel density and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It support dual-SIM functionality and packs a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

There’s an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash at the rear and a 2-megapixel camera at the front. The Lenovo A5000 packs an 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card while it offers Bluetooth, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G (HSPA+). GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, FM radio, and Micro-USB as connectivity options. It is powered by a huge 4000mAh battery which is the most notable feature of the device.
According to Lenovo, the battery can deliver up to 35 hours of talk time and 33 days of standby.
