Lenovo has unleashed a new budget smartphone in China, the K3 Note. The firm on Tuesday took the wrap off the device in hope of competing with the China queen Meizu M1 Note which will soon be landing in India very soon. The K3 Music Note packs mouth-watering specifications at a ridiculous price of CNY 899 (Roughly $145 USD) while availability outside China still remains undisclose.

This will be the second smartphone to be launched by the firm after Lenovo A7000 that was MWC earlier this month. The K3 Note features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display touting a brilliant pixel density of 401ppi. It support dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. Note that the Meizu M1 Note runs Android 4.4 KitKat but is upgradeable Lollipop.

Diving in, the budget is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6572 processor clocked at 1.5GHz alongside with 2GB of RAM. At the rear, it harbours a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash while there is also a 5-megapixel shooter at the front for taking selfie. There is a 16GB of internal storage onboard which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

On the connectivity front, the Lenovo K3 Note support 4G LTE (and TD-LTE), Bluetooth, Wifi, Micro-USB, GPRS/EDGE, and GPS/A-GPS. It powered by a 3000mAh battery.
