Sony has announced a new portable compact wireless speaker in India, the PumpX (SRS X2), priced at Rs 7,990 ($128 USD). The device was first launched alongside with SRS X3 in May last year and has been available in the US and Europe.
The PumpX also known as SRS X2, offer good sound quality and enhanced bass output pushed out through its two 10W speakers with 45mm drivers. NFC connectivity onboard makes it easier to link up with NFC enabled devices such as Home Theaters, TVs, and other home gadgets.

Besides its basic functionality, the PumpX offers Bluetooth support and can be paired with smartphones to receive phone calls, thanks to its pre-built microphone. However, only device with Bluetooth 3.0+ are supported.
Built-in battery can last up to 5 hours in a single charge as claimed by the firm. Room-filled experience can be achieve via virtual surround mode despite its small size. The PumpX weigh just 500 grams. It will be available in three different colors, White, Red, and Black.
