Sony Added Xperia E4g And Xperia E4g Dual SIM To Its Low Budget Segment

Sony is re-dedicating its low cost phone segment with the newly launched Xperia E4g and Xperia E4g Dual smartphones. The budgets are announced by the firm on Wednesday and will kick off starting from April at €129 ($145 USD).

The Sony Xperia E4g is a new variant of the recently launched Xperia E4 but comes with a lower display and an enhanced processor. The Dual version allows two SIMs at a time. It features a 4.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with no words on Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732 chipset coupled with Mali T760 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash while there is also a 2-megapixel front camera onboard.

The Sony Xperia E4g comes with an 8GB built-in storage which is expandable via MicroSD card. Connectivity options included are 3G, 4G LTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2300mAh battery with Sony new STAMINAL Mode that further increase battery life.
