Apple on Thursday un-loose its latest flagship’s, the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3, both tablets touting their Retina Display and integrated TouchID which are one of the features Apple fans have been looking forward to. Apple not being discreet this time, announced its availability and pricing details at the launching event.
The iPad Air successor comes in two models, Wifi Only and Wifi + Cellular. The Wifi only comes in three storage variants, the 16GB version priced at $499, the 64GB version at $599, and the 128GB version at $699, while the Cellular model is priced at $629, $729, and $829 for the 16GB/64GB/128GB storage variants.
On the other hand, the iPad Mini 3 can pre-order starting from October 17, the Wifi Only model comes with a price tag of $399, $499, and $599 for the 16GB/64GB/128GB storage variants, while the Wifi + Cellular model is priced at $529, $629, and $729 for the 16GB/64GB/128GB storage variants.

The tablets comes in two screen sizes, 9.7-inch and 7.9-inch, both flaunting 2,048 x 1,536 pixel resolution. The Ipad Air 2 and Ipad Mini 3 runs Apple newest iOS 8.1 out-of-the-box and are driven by A8X chipsets, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The tablets both sports 8-megapixel rear cameras, while the Ipad Air 2 spots a secondary 1.6-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options included are Wifi 802.11ac with MIMO, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS/A-GPS.
