To keep its Pixel 2 smartphones entertainment alive as they lacks the traditional 3.5mm audio jacks, Google at its San Francisco event launched a new wireless headphones dubbed Pixel Buds, the company’s first since its existence. It has supports for Google Assistant which can be activated by tapping and holding the right earbud for few seconds.
With Google Assistant on deck, users can listen to music; make and receive phone calls; “listen” to received text messages and notifications, and carry out other tasks by simply using their voice without turning on their smartphones. Tapping the right earbud Pause/Play music, and an user can increase or lowered the volume by swapping his/her finger forward or backward across the right earbud.

Its tangled-free cord is made of fabric for great comfort and ease of use. The device comes baked-in with a 120mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to five hours of listening time. Furthermore, the bundled casing double up as a charger and can provide up to 24 hours of additional battery juice for the Pixel Buds via its built-in 620mAh battery.
The Google Pixel Buds comes in the same color variant as Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, Kinda Blue, Just Black, and Clearly White. It is priced at $159 and is available for pre-orders in the U.S. It will go on sale in Canada, U.K, Germany, Singapore, and Australia including U.S in November .
