This means that you need to score a minimum of 180 in JAMB 2020/2021 before you can apply for any course in FUNAI.

Can I apply to study in FUNAI with score below 180?

The answer is simply NO. You need to meet the minimum JAMB UTME requirements set by the school management to study in FUNAI.

NOTE: Only candidates who applied through JAMB for UTME Admission, chose Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike as the most preferred Choice and scored 180 and above are eligible for the Post UTME screening exercise.

A.  For admission to 100 Level (UMEa), candidates must:

  1. Obtain five (5) credit passes at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings; and
  2. An acceptable score (at least 180) in Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in relevant subjects.

B.  For admission to 200 level (direct entry), candidates should:

  1. In addition to five SSCE credit passes as in a (1) above, obtain at least two A’level (or its equivalent) passes in relevant subjects or possess NCE or OND with credit passes, or possess a good first degree in another field as the case may be.

How To Calculate FUNAI Aggregate Score 2022/2023

Since the introduction of JAMB CAPS, every school is required to make JAMB score weigh at least 50% of the total aggregate score of their candidates.

The Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike has employed a 50:50 JAMB and Post UTME system in calculating the aggregate point.

JAMB carries 50% and Post UTME carries 50% of the total aggregate score.

So, a good O’level result will help you get a higher aggregate score in FUNAI.
