Alcatel has launched A50, A30 Plus and Idol 5S, the company’s latest smartphones in the United States. All the three runs Android Nougat OS and supports 4G LTE.
The A30 Plus is the least powerful among the three closely followed by A50, both of which packs MediaTek MT6738 chipsets alongside with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The first has a 5.5-inch HD display while the later has a slightly smaller 5.2-inch display with same HD resolution.

The Idol 5S on the other hand features a 5.5-inch full-HD display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon chipset, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The A50 is the only device among the three that comes with separate SNAPBAK covers that brings additional functionality to the phone. The back covers comes in different varieties—there is Sound SNAPBAK that adds two additional speakers to the built-in ones for louder and clearer audio and there is Power SNAPBAK that further extend the phone battery life.
