Alcatel is gearing up to release two new high-end smartphones at the upcoming MWC event in Barcelona later this month according to a new report (via) published online earlier today. The OneTouch Idol 4S and Idol 4 as named was teased on the firm website, with some of their specifications listed and their pictures.
Notably, both smartphones are listed to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and offers dual SIM functionality. The OneTouch Idol 4S (above pics) will features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, and packs a 64-bit 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. It will includes a 32GB of built-in storage that can be expanded via MicroSD card (up to 512GB).

A 16-megapixel camera will be placed at the back, accompanied with twin-tone LED flash, and a secondary 8-megapixel wide-angle lens camera at the front, also paired with a single LED flash. Connectivity options to be included are Bluetooth 4.2, Wifi 802.11ac, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB with OTG. A 3,000mAh battery will turn it on.
The OneTouch Idol 4 on the other hand will features a smaller 5.2-inch IPS LTPS display with full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. A 16GB of storage will stay inside with external storage support via MicroSD card (up to 512GB).
The smartphone will packs a 13-megapixel camera at the rear with twin-tone LED flash, while an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens camera with a LED flash will be at the front for taking selfie. Connectivity options remains the same with Idol 4S. A 2,160mAh battery will turn it on.
