Cubot Dinosaur with 3GB RAM, Android 6.0 Marshmallow Unveiled

The Chinese phone manufacturer, Cubot, has officially took the wraps off its latest smartphone in China called Dinosaur. The phone is listed on the company webpage without pricing and availability details. We expect it to go on sale in coming weeks.

The main highlight of the device is latest Android version it runs, which is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Also, it packs a gigantic 4,150mAh battery that can last for days in a single charge. The Cubot Dinosaur features a 5.5-inch IPS 2.5D capacitive touch display with HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels and pixel density of 267ppi. The display has a contrast ratio of 1300:1 and a brightness of 450cd. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735A processor clocked at 1.3GHz, alongside with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

There is a 16GB of built-in storage onboard but external storage support is not mentioned. The dual-SIM enabled Cubot Dinosaur sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, while it harbours a 5-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, HotKnot and USB with OTG.

It has a tricoloured notification light at the top of the display and comes with Ambient Light, G-Sensor, Accelerometer, and Proximity sensors.
