A new entry-level Galaxy smartphone by Samsung has reportedly go on sale in U.S today. The Galaxy J1 Mini Prime (J106B) as named, is listed on top online retail stores in the region along with its specs and pricing details, however, Samsung is yet to officially announce the device or make mention of it.
According to eBay listing, the smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixel) capacitive touch display, flaunting a pixel density of 233ppi. It is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz, slammed with 1GB of RAM and Mali 400 GPU. It includes an 8GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and offers dual SIM slots, both of which supports 3G. In photography, it is equipped with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with a single LED flash, while a 2-megapixel selfie camera sits at the front. The Galaxy J1 Mini Prime lacks 4G LTE but supports other common connectivity options such as Bluetooth, WiFi, GPRS/EDGE, and GPS apart from 3G. It measures 126.6×63.1×10.8mm, weigh 123 grams, and is backed by a 1500mAh battery.
