Samsung has quitely launched Galaxy Tab 8.0 (2017) in Vietnam, an 8-inch entry-level tablet powered by Android OS. The device has a slim metal body profile that is 8.9mm thick when measured, but is significantly hefty considering its body weight of 364 grams.
The tablet is offered in two flavors, a WiFi-only version with model number SM-T380 and a LTE version with model number SM-T385. The latter supports 4G LTE and voice calling while the former does not. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) boots Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and has a physical home button that lacks a fingerprint sensor.
