The Invoke as named, is a smart speaker that is here to directly compete with the likes of Amazon Echo, Google Home, and Lenovo Smart Assistant. It has a cylindrical-shaped metal body design that clearly reminds us of Echo, with speakers that promise 360-degree audio output circulating its mid-joint.

What makes Invoke smart is the presence of Microsoft’s Cortana personal assistant service. With Cortana on deck, users will be able to make enquiry, ask for weather updates, be alerted of upcoming scheduled meetings, make and receive Skype calls, play music and do much more by directly communicating with Cortana via voice command. Notably, this is the first third-party product that will be using Cortana.

Interested users can register on Harman Kardon website to be notified when it becomes available. Pricing details is not known yet, but it will launch later this fall.
