Having launched three smartphones last week, Huawei today has again introduced a new Android tablet under its MediaPad series, MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro, a successor of MediaPad T2 10.0 launched in January this year. While the later packs a Kirin 950 chipset, the new tablet welcomes Snapdragon 616 onboard.

Specwise, it features a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels (WUXGA) and contrast ratio of 800:1. The device comes in two variants, 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, both powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. Both storage options are further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. Android 5.1 Lollipop governs all software activities, topped with Huawei Emotion UI 3.1.
In photography, the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while it bears a 2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11ac (dual band), GPS/A-GPS and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 6660mAh battery. 4G LTE variant will also be available in selected markets when it go on sale. No word on pricing and availability.
