One of my students asked me, “Is it true that JAMB 2020 results for all candidates have been cancelled and everyone will resit for JAMB?“.
Will Candidates Who Missed JAMB 2020 Resit?
Unfortunately, the answer is No.
JAMB has also made it known that all those who missed the examination will not be allowed to sit for the examination again as the UTME process has ended this year already.
The position of JAMB is that all candidates who are absent from the examination and those who sat the examination and did not attempt any question would score zero and their zero score would not be transformed.
This was released as part of the presentation released during the JAMB policy meeting 2020.

So many others are even wondering if admission for 2020 will still hold because of the Corona pandemic that has caused locked down and affected the academic calendar of all schools in Nigeria.
So, I will make it clear and simple.
JAMB result for 2020 have not been cancelled and admission process for this year will hold. In fact, JAMB has announced that all admission processes will begin in August, 2020.
As a matter of fact, some schools have already started released their Post UTME form at the time of publishing this article. So many Private universities have released their form and other schools are following.
This was made known during the JAMB policy meeting that was held on June 16, 2020.
So, here’s the big question – How will schools hold their Post UTME if there is still lockdown?
Will Post UTME Be Written In 2020 Due To Lockdown?
In the worst case scenario, schools will use JAMB result and O’level to calculate the aggregate for admission.
But, in my opinion, schools like UI, OAU, UNILORIN, UNILAG, UNN, ABU, UNIBEN and many more will want to ensure they conduct Post UTME for their applicants.
So, I will advise you not to assume that the examination will not hold or something. Prepare for the worst.
In that case, the Post UTME exam will most likely come later this year.
We can only hope and pray that the Corona is over very soon and the lockdown is totally lifted.
I am not clear on exactly what will happen here yet, but if there is any update, I will like you know on this blog.

According to JAMB, they are screening the results and will be results in due time (that who are not found guilty of malpractices)

You have to retrieve your SIM card, or go to JAMB office for change of phone number.
Finally, I believe the portal will also be available to check the result, not only through SMS.

I wrote my jamb in one centre at Aba Abia state they sent me message that my centre is cancelled and will be rewrite the following day which was too prompt because I have already travelled out from the town before I could reach there they have finished which we were many that missed it but the promised us that we will rewrite it or they will post our results for us but now i checked it is absent please what should I do
You should go to your CBT centre and ask for updates on the resit for those that missed the first resit
