Jamie Vardy scored Leicester’s second and third goals away to WBA in the Premier League from 12 yards.
That took him past Didier Drogba’s Premier League goal tally of 104. The Leicester striker has played 42 less games than the Ivorian.

Vardy keeps on making Premier League history. He got a brace in Leicester’s Premier League match away to WBA and he went past Didier Drogba’s Premier League goal tally. Esteban Gomez of ‘AS’ was the one who revealed the stat.
Both goals were scored from the penalty spot. The first penalty came about after a Leicester man ran into the box and was pulled back. The referee saw it despite it being off the ball. Vardy made no mistake from the spot.
He hit a low shot right by the keeper’s right hand post and the second penalty was very similar. Castagne, who joined the club from Atalanta this summer, scored the first and he played very well.
Vardy not only went past Drogba’s record, but he has also scored in all five away PL appearances versus West Brom. Van Nistelrooy did the same in all five of his visits to Newcastle.
