Reliance today announced JioPhone 2, the second iteration of its smart featured phone running KAI OS. This unlike its predecessor comes with a physical QWERTY keyboard for faster typing and it is broader in width while maintaining nearly the same thickness.
Moreover, the JioPhone 2 also comes with dedicated dual SIM slot and offer 4G LTE Cat.4 that can blow a download speed of up to 150Mbps and an upload speed of up to 50Mbps.

Technically, the new Jio featured phone features a 2.4-inch LCD display with QVGA (320×240) resolution and is powered by an unspecified dual-core processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM. There is a 4GB of storage onboard with additional option provided to expand it up to 128GB via a MicroSD card.
The phone has a 2-megapixel camera at the back and a VGA (0.3-megapixel) camera at the front. Apart from 4G VoLTE other connectivity present are Bluetooth 4.1 LE, WiFi with supports for VoWiFi, NFC, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. It is fuelled by a 2000mAh battery.
The JioPhone 2 will be available from August 15th at an introductory price of Rs 2999 (~$45).
