Lava has introduced a new 2-in-1 convertible laptop/tablet hybrid device in India named Twinpad. It runs Windows 10 out-of-the-box and comes bundled with a detachable keyboard that has a trackpad.
In technical aspect, the Lava Twinpad features a 10.1-inch IPS display with WXGA (1280×800 pixels) resolution, that can be flipped and reversed when docked. The display supports 5-point multitouch and an optional stylus pen is included. Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F with a base speed of 1.33GHz that can turbo boost up to 1.84GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Intel HD Graphics.

It includes a 32GB of built-in storage with external storage support via MicroSD card (up to 64GB). Notably, the Twinpad has a dedicated SIM card slot with supports of 3G for web browsing. A 2-megapixel camera is equipped at the rear without LED flash, while it sports a secondary 2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options onboard are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi and 2x USB ports. It is fuelled by a 7,400mAh battery.
The Lava Twinpad will be priced at Rs 15,999 ($232) when it go on sale in coming days.
