Lenovo Flex 11 Rugged Convertible Chrome Laptop Outs at $279

Lenovo has introduced a new 2-in-1 convertible laptop running Chrome operating system called Flex 11. Similar to Lenovo Chromebook c330. The device, which has a rugged body design that can survive a drop from up to 2.4 feet, features a 11.6-inch IPS anti-glare touch display with HD (1366×768) resolution, offering 10-point multi-touch supports.

Being a convertible, the display can be rotate up to 360-degree to use in four different modes, watch, tent, laptop and tablet, for easier access in certain environments. The Flex 11 ruggedness further stretch out to its ports and touchpad which the company claimed are sealed and reinforced to protect against accidental spill. The keyboard itself is water-resistant and can handle spills of up to 330ml.

Moving on, the laptop is powered by a quad-core ARM processor clocked at 2.1GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. A SD card reader slot is provided to further expand the storage per user liking, while a HD (720p) webcam is placed at the front above the display. The Flex 11 seems robust in terms of connectivity as it houses USB Type-C port, USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, and mic/audio combo jack along with Bluetooth and WiFi.

The new Chrome laptop by Lenovo however, will not comes with Play Store access out-of-the-box, but the company promise to release the said feature later in the near future. The battery is touted to deliver up to 10 hours of use in a single charge.

The Flex 11 Chromebook will go on sale in U.S later this month with a price tag of $279.99.
