2-in-1 convertible laptops market are growing competitively each day, with each technology firms offering its own best to tackle the already competitive market and to gain the heart of the people. Lenovo has been dominating this sector for a while with its Yoga series, but the new offering by the company is here to take things to a whole new level.
Today, Lenovo has announced two new devices, a 2-in-1 convertible laptop dubbed Yoga 900, and an AIO (All-In-One) PC the Yoga Home 900, both running Windows 10 out-of-the-box. Although Lenovo P50 and P70 Workstations took the front seat of running Windows 10, the new Yoga 900 is the company’s first 2-in-1 Windows 10 laptop. Its powerful yet flexible hinge is one of the most noticeable part, and one that seperate it from the mechanical we are known with. It sports a watchband hinge crafted with 800 individual pieces that can rotate up to 360-degree.

The Yoga 900 offer four different modes, Laptop, Stand, Tablet and Tent, for optimum users satisfaction in different environments and flexibility in daily use. In technical aspects, the device features a 13.3-inch QHD+ (3200 x 1800 pixels) display with 10-point multitouch, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 300 nits brightness. It comes in different configurations, offering up to 6th generation Intel Core i7 (Skylake) processor, 16GB LP-DDR3L RAM and 512GB SSD storage.
It has an HD CMOS camera at the front and provide Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, 2x USB 3.0 ports, 4-in-1 card reader, Audio jack, and DC-in as connectivity options. The Yoga 900 measures 324 x 225 x 14.9mm and weighs up to 1.3kg. It is powered by a 4-cell 66Whr Li-polymer battery.
On the other hand, the Lenovo Yoga Home 900 AIO PC features a 27-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) LED display with 10-point multi-touch. It comes in different configurations, with maximum configuration offering 5th generation Intel Core i7-5500U processor, Nvidia GeForce 940A GPU, 4GB/8GB DDR3 RAM (1600MHz), and 500GB/1TB hard disk drive.
The new Lenovo AIO PC have dual 2.5W integrated speakers and front FHD (1080p) webcam. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI input port, Audio jack, DC-in (for charging), and NFC. It measures 669.2 x 19.5 x 408 mm and weighs up to 7.6kg. A 6-cell 73Whr battery turn it on.
The Lenovo Yoga 900 and Yoga Home 900 are priced at $1,199 USD (#240,000 NGN) and $1,499 USD (#300,000 NGN), respectively. Both will be available in the U.S starting next week on Best Buy and Lenovo website.
