LG has unveiled a new variant of its recently launched Watch Urbane smartwatch named Watch Urbane LTE. The new variant looks much like the previous release on the outside but have nearly identical specs.
Firstly, the Android Wear OS that governs the inner activities has been replaced with the LG’s own new wearable platform with different UX. Secondly, it support LTE and VoLTE with dedicated Mic and speaker to handle voice calling. And thirdly, there’s now NFC onboard for payment options. Other specifications remain the same.

On the front face is a 1.3-inch P-OLED touch display with a resolution of 320×320 pixels, while it packs a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor topped with 1GB of RAM. It comes with a 4GB of internal storage and offers Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and NFC as connectivity options.
The LG Watch Urbane LTE is equipped with various sensors, these include 9-axis Gyroscope, 9-axis Accelerometer, 9-axis Compass, Heart-Rate Sensor, and Barometer. It is waterproof and dustproof certified with IP67 and is powered by a 700mAh battery. The smartwatch will be launch at MWC next week where its pricing and availability will be announce.
