X4+ is LG latest smartphone in the X series that has just debuts in South Korea. The device is military grade certified with MIL-STD 810G rating for its beyond-ordinary ability. It can withstand high and low temperature and pressure; can survive drop from a notable height, and it can withstand impact, vibration and shock. The phone is not mentioned to be waterproof or dustproof.
It is wrapped in a slightly thick 8.6mm metal body and has an overall weight of 172.3 grams. The X4+ runs Android 7.0 Nougat with LG UX on top. It features a 5.3-inch IPS capacitive touch display with HD (1280×720) resolution. A quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Mobile Platform clocked at 1.4GHz powered the hardware, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 308 GPU. There is a 32GB of storage onboard that can be expanded via MicroSD card.

At the front is a 5-megapixel camera with 100-degree wide-angle lens, while a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera is equipped at the back with a LED flash. Below the rear camera is a fingerprint sensor for smart security. It has a dedicated DAC for 32bit/192KHz Hi-Res audio streaming and it also supports LG Pay.
Connectivity options provided with the LG X4+ includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, GPS, and NFC. It is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery.
The phone will be available in Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet colors and will cost KRW 300,000 (US$282) when it go on sale in Korea later this month.
