In 2011, we announced the launch of a National Scholarship Program, designed to recognize community volunteer work and promote higher education through financial support.
This award program is open to all Canadian residents and permanent citizens and is part of the Company’s commitment to making a positive difference in our community.
Generously funded by Loblaw and The W. Garfield Weston Foundation, up to 200 scholarships of $1500 each will be awarded in 2021. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enrol in a full-time post-secondary diploma or undergraduate degree program at a Canadian college or university in the Fall 2019/Winter 2020 academic year.
About Loblaw
Loblaw provides financial aid for the sponsored regional scholarship award program which was launched in 2011 as the National Scholarship Program.
The scholarship is funded by Loblaw and The W. Garfield Weston Foundation. It provides two hundred students, financial support worth 1500 dollars each every year.
The scholarship is available for both its colleagues and eligible family members who are intending to pursue a career in post-secondary education and undergraduate studies.
This national scholarship program was designed to recognize community volunteer work and also to promote higher education by providing financial support to students. The program is available to all students with legal residency in Canada and permanent citizens of Canada. It is also a part of the company’s commitment to making a positive difference in the community.

The Loblaw scholarship is available for students applying who must have already been enrolled or planning to enroll in a full – time post-secondary diploma or undergraduate program at a Canadian college or university in the Fall of the year of application or the winter of the following academic year.
