Microsoft has silently introduced a new accessory device in the United States for PCs, tablets and 2-in-1’s. Dubbed “Modern Keyboard”, the device has a stylish elegant body that is 19.3mm thick, enclosed in an aluminium frame with long lasting durability, which according to Microsoft makes it virtually indestructible.

The keyboard major field of attraction is that it comes with an inbuilt fingerprint scanner that works with Windows Hello, enabling Windows 10 users to sign in at a lightning speed. The sensor is embedded where the right Windows keys is normally located and it seamlessly blend with the keyboard other keys, making it almost hidden.

The Modern Keyboard is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled and will readily works with devices running Windows 10/8.1/8, MaC OS 10.10.5 and above, Android 4.2 and above, and iOS 8.1 and above as long as they supports Bluetooth 4.0 or higher. The keyboard can also be connected with supported devices via wired connection using a cable.

It measures 420.9×112.6×19.3mm, weighs 420 grams, and is powered by two AAA alkaline rechargeable batteries that can last for up to two months when fully charged. The Modern Keyboard with Fingerprint ID is listed on Microsoft online store in US with $129.99 price tag. The company is offering one year limited warranty with each purchase.
