Xiaomi has announced Mi Notebook Pro in China, the company’s latest Windows 10 laptop and its first laptop to feature a 15.6-inch display. The device has a sleek ultra-thin body design made of metal, girdle around the edges with magnesium frame. Its 15.6-inch touchscreen display touts a full-HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixel, a contrast ratio of 800:1 and a brightness of 300 nits, protected on the surface by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 against scratch.
The display has a 170-degree wide viewing angle but can only be tilt up to 140-degree. Moving on, the Mi Notebook Pro is powered by an 8th-Gen Intel Core i5-8250U (CoffeeLake) processor running at a speed of 3.4GHz, clubbed with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and NVIDIA GeForce MX150 dedicated GPU. An 8th-Gen Core i7 (8550U) CoffeeLake version is also made available for those who are willing to shed more for more computing power.

A fast 256GB PCIe SSD resides inside and there is also an empty SSD slot made available to further expand the limited internal storage. The laptop has a led-backlit keyboard with fingerprint sensor baked inside its trackpad for one-touch login access using Windows Hello. It sports a 1MP HD webcam with digital array microphone; dual 2.5W speakers tuned by Harman Infinity, and Dolby Atmos for immersive audio experience.

Connectivity included with the Mi Notebook Pro are 2x USB 3.0 ports, 2x USB Type-C ports, HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11ac (dual band), 3-in-1 card reader, and 3.5mm headphones jack. It is fuelled by a 60WHr battery rated to deliver up to 9 hours of video playback.
The Core i5 + 8GB RAM version of the Mi Notebook Pro is priced at CNY 5699 ($874); the Core i7 + 8GB RAM version at CNY 6399 ($982); while the high-end version with Core i7 + 16GB RAM costs CNY 6999 ($1074). It comes in Black color option only.
