Npower April Stipend 2020 Payment

Npower April Stipend – The Beneficiaries of the Federal Government NPower scheme have not been paid their  March and even April 2020 stipend, and the lamentation among Npower beneficiaries is unending

Ccnworldtech also learnt that majority of the Federal Government’s N-Power beneficiaries are yet to be paid their March allowance which commenced on 16th April 2020.

Sadly, N-Power is a well-thought-out response to the alarming rate of unemployment among Nigerian youths. In order to promote Nigeria’s economy and correct the inadequacy in the country’s public services, N-Power avails numerous Nigerian youths the avenue for acquiring vital work skills.

We had earlier reported that beneficiaries are fuming over what they describe as “habitual delay of their monthly Npower stipends” by the N-Power scheme.

Most of them took to the social investment social media handle to berate the scheme for not playing their part by paying their allowance.

The Nigerian government’s N-Power Scheme revealed this on Monday, May 19th 2020 via its verified Twitter handle.

The scheme wrote;

“We wish we could tell you the exact date and time but beneficiaries will receive their stipends this week unfailingly”.

Recall that the Federal Government N-Power scheme earlier apologized for the delayed March Stipend Payment, stating that the delay was as a result of change in the payment platform used for payments in the bid to harmonize government payroll for effective and efficient disbursements of salaries to federal government employees and stipends to federal government social investment beneficiaries.

The N-Power programme has 500,000 volunteers who are engaged as teachers, health workers and agricultural extension officers, among other fields. They are deployed to various locations throughout the country offering their services to Nigerians. Each participant is paid a stipend of ₦30,000 monthly (approximately 83 US Dollars).

Headquartered formerly under the office of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, N-Teach is the most popular of the N-SIP, which also focuses on health, agriculture and public finance.
