The State Governor, Dapo Abiodun made this known on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at the official launch of Ogun Adire Digital Market Place at Kuto, Abeokuta.

Abiodun, who likewise approached the Federal Government to receive Adire as clothing for public occasions said the thought is to additionally advance the rich culture of the country to the rest of the world.
The Governor stated, “For us in Ogun State and beginning from next term, plans are on to make Adire an essential piece of school uniform fabric for our public schools and optional schools.
