Samsung has a new tablet at work to unleash before Q4 of 2015, the Galaxy Tab S2. While full details of the device is heavily guarded, all rumours seem to point to a single fact, and that is it is here to claim world’s slimmest tablet title.
It passed through TENAA (chinese equivalent of fcc) for certification last week and some of its specifications was leaked, this proves it may first debut in China (or Asia), however, the Galaxy Tab S2 has again visit FCC and not only its specifications leaked this time, its picture was also revealed.

8-inch version of the tablet is what was revealed here but a 9.7-inch version is believed to exist too. Samsung won’t stick to 8-inch version only, their history proves otherwise. The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 which is the 8-inch version will measure 198.2×134.5×5.4mm and weight 260 gram.
It will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos processor backed with 3GB of RAM while Android 5.0 Lollipop will govern all internal activities. An 8-megapixel snapper will be at the rear accompanied with a LED flash and a 2.1-megapixel camera will be at the front. 4G LTE along with other connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wifi, GLONASS, and GPS will also be included.
The best part is, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 will sports a body thickness of 5.4mm, no tablet has ever manage that but we’ll like Samsung to give it a try. Its thinness won’t stop it from packing a 3580mAh battery either.
If we are to add our own specs then we expect USB Type-C to be there, we definitely know Samsung has a plan for that but we wish it could be for this device. Visiting both TENAA and FCC means the Galaxy Tab S2 is already here. Who knows, they might announce it tomorrow.
