Sony unexpectedly today has announced an enhanced version of its Xperia XA smartphone that was launched at MWC in March dubbed Xperia XA Ultra. While it looks much like the standard version on the outside and has nearly identical specifications, the newly introduced device has experienced upgrades in four sectors, display, RAM, camera and battery capacity.
Unlike its predecessor that comes with 5-inch HD screen, the Xperia XA Ultra features a 6-inch Triluminous display with full-HD (1920×1080) resolution. It packs same octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor clocked at 2.0GHz with Mali-T860 GPU to take care of graphics, but the RAM has been upgraded from to 2GB to 3GB. The built-in storage still maintains same position though..which is 16GB, with the ability to further expand it up to 200GB via MicroSD card.

To reminds you, the Xperia XA has 13MP and 8MP cameras.
Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, 3G, 2G, GPS and NFC. It is backed by a larger 2700mAh battery when compares with 2300mAh battery that fuels the non-ultra version. The Xperia XA Ultra pricing and availability are yet to be revealed.
