The Lagos State Government will close the Adekunle-Adeniji hub of the Third Mainland Bridge for the second round of repairs.
As per an announcement gave on Wednesday by the Ministry of Transportation, the closure will happen on Friday at 12 PM.

Bolanle Ogunlola, who marked the announcement in the interest of the Public Affairs Unit, said the move is in “encouragement of the fractional closure of the Third Mainland Bridge occasioned by the continuous first stage restoration works approaching finish.”
“The Lagos State Government has reported that there will be an all-out closure of the Adekunle to Adeniji segment of the bridge for the second time from 12 PM of Friday 30th October to Sunday first November 2020,” the announcement halfway read.
The Commissioner for Transportation, Frederic Oladeinde, stated: “This subsequent stage closure of the fix works is coming fourteen days bogged down because of deferrals occasioned by the ongoing anarchy around the Lagos city.”
