The Vivo V9 has finally launched in Thailand, bringing with it an octa-core Snapdragon 626 chipset and dual rear-facing camera. The processor should satisfy the needs of many as it is newer and it offers more performance when compared with Snapdragon 625, though they both shared the same GPU.
As could be expected, the phone comes with an 19:9 FullScreen display with a Full HD+ resolution. Above the display is a notch that accommodates the front camera and the proximity/ambient light sensors. The RAM and built-in storage are 4GB and 64GB, respectively.

The rear dual camera setup is 16MP+5MP while a 24MP selfie camera is pinned to the front. Moreover, the front camera supports face unlock and has A.I face beauty tech baked inside. The Vivo V9 have a dedicated dual SIM slot; a fingerprint sensor at the back, and a 3260mAh battery.

Update (March 23, 2018)
Vivo today has introduced its V9 smartphone in India a day after unveiling it in Thailand. The specs remains the same, but this comes in a new Sapphire Blue color in addition to the phone Black and Gold color options.
It will be available online on Amazon.in and FlipKart and at offline retail outlets across the region for Rs 22,990 ($345) starting from April 2nd. Pre-orders begins today.
