Xiaomi has officially launched Mi 4c, an upgraded and more powerful variant in Mi 4 series. The smartphone was announced in an event today in China and will be available for pre-orders starting from tomorrow, 23rd of September on e-commerce website T-mall. The Xiaomi Mi 4c comes in two variants, 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version, priced at CN¥ 1299 (US$204) and CN¥ 1499 (US$235) respectively. Global availability still remains undisclose.
In physical aspects, the device measures 138.1 × 69.6 × 7.8mm and weight 132 gram. It comes in different color options which includes Blue, Pink, Yellow and White. Specwise, the Mi 4c features a 5-inch IPS Fully laminated touchscreen display with FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, touting a pixel density of 441ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 (4-core Cortex A57 1.8GHz + 4-core Cortex A53 1.44GHz) processor coupled with Adreno 418 GPU.

The smartphone houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX258 or Samsung SSK3M2 sensor (depend on variant), PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and dual-toned LED flash, while a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens camera is equipped at the front. The Xiaomi Mi 4c runs Android Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with MIUI 7, and has two SIM slots with 4G LTE support. Other connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi (dual band + MIMO), 3G HSPA+, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, Infra-red, and USB Type-C. It is backed by a 3,080mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 2.0.
