Porsche Design BOOK ONE 2-in-1 Convertible Windows 10 Laptop Outs at MWC

The German technology firm Porsche Design, today at MWC in Barcelona launched a new 2-in-1 convertible laptop running Windows 10 operating system called BOOK ONE. The device features a 13.3-inch touch display with QHD (3200×1800) resolution that can be rotate up to 360-degree to use in different modes such as Stand, Tablet, and Laptop—thanks to its two powerful hinge.

The BOOK ONE sports a milled aluminium body design with matte anodized surface finish and comes with a full-sized backlit keyboard with touch-precision trackpad. A digital stylus also comes bundled with the laptop for drawing and writing on the touch display, which magnetically stick to the side when not in use.

Under the hood, the 2-in-1 is powered by a 7th-gen Intel Core i7-7500U (Kabylake) processor clocked at 3.5GHz, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage. It sports a 5MP infrared webcam with supports of Windows Hello facial recognition smart security. Connectivity options included are 2x USB Type-C ports (1x with Thunderbolt 3), 2x USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11ac, and SD card reader.

The Porsche Design BOOK ONE will go on sale in Germany from April at €2,795 ($2,951 USD), and in the United States at $2,495 USD.
