Samsung today has launched its fourth Tizen-powered smartphone in India named Z2. The company are not aiming high and instead has opted in to go for entry-level in terms of specifications. Much like “Galaxy J series” smartphones, the new device comes with Ultra Data Saving Mode powered by Opera Max and S Bike mode. A new feature is touted dubbed My Money Transfer, a built-in application that allows users to easily manage bank transactions and generate mini bank statement.

The Samsung Z2 features a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It is powered by an unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM, while it bears an 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The phone runs Tizen OS 2.4 and offers dual SIM functionality with support of 4G LTE and VoLTE on one SIM.
In photography, it sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with a single LED flash while a VGA camera is equipped at the front for video-calling. Other connectivity options included besides 4G VoLTE are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. A 1500mAh battery turn it on.
The Samsung Z2 will be available at selected online and offline retail stores across India from 29th of August in Gold, Wine Red, and Black colors.
