Xiaomi also introduced the Mi Notebook Air alongside with Redmi Pro that was announced earlier, the company’s first ultra-thin full Windows 10 laptop in China. The device comes in two variants, 12.5-inch and 13.3-inch, both having full-HD (1920×1080) resolution with 170-degree wide-angle view, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 300 nits brightness. The 12.5-inch version measure just 12.9mm at its thinnest point and weighs only 1.07kg. The 13.3-inch version on the other hand, has 14.8mm body thickness and weighs 1.28kg. Both are wrapped in metal body with 135-degree opening and closing hinge.

Full-sized backlit keyboards are laid above the chassis with 1.3mm key travel, and there are glass trackpads beneath with multi-touch and gesture supports. The Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch version is driven on the inside by an Intel Core m3 6Y30 processor with up to 2.2GHz clock speed and 4MB cache, clubbed with Intel HD Graphics 515, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 128GB SSD storage. An additional SSD slot let users further expand the accompanied storage to their satisfaction.

The 13-inch version packed an Intel Core i5 600U processor with up to 2.7GHz clock speed and 3MB cache, alongside with 1GB DDR5 NVIDIA Geforce GT 940MX GPU, 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 256GB PCIe × 4 NVMe SSD, with SSD expansion slot as well. The Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch and 13.3-inch comes with dual stereo speakers (2x 1W for 12.5-inch, 2x 2W for 13.3-inch) enhanced by Dolby Audio and RealTek ALC, 1MB webcams with digital array microphonet, and 3.5mm audio jacks.

Connectivity options included are HDMI port, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 4.1, and WiFi 802.11ac. The 12.5-inch model has a single USB 3.0 port and is powered by a 37Wh battery claimed to last for 11.5 hours, while the 13.3-inch version comes with 2x USB 3.0 ports in addition to previously listed connectivity options and is backed by a 40Wh battery, capable of rendering up to 9.5 hours of use.

The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch version is priced at CNY 3499 ($524 USD) and the 13.3-inch version at CNY 4999 ($749 USD). Both will be available in Gold and Silver colours starting from the 2nd of August in China.
