The tablet runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box topped with ZenUI, but lacks voice calling functionality, though it stills maintain a perfect balance in security as it housed a fingerprint sensor beneath the physical home button for biometric identification. It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear with full-HD (1080p) video recording capability, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.2 (+ aptX), WiFi 802.11ac, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C. Various audio enhancements are also in place to push quality sound out of ten magnet speakers equipped on the device, these includes Sonic Master, DTS Audio, and 7.1-channel surround sound, with the ability to process 24 bit/192kHz Hi-Res Audio. It is backed by a 5900mAh battery. According to Asus, the battery can deliver up to 10 hours of use in a single charge.
The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 will be available in Taiwan sometime in August at a price of NT$ 10,990 ($341 USD). It is painted in Silver and Grey colours.
