Panasonic has launched a new budget smartphone in India named P75. Despite being an entry-level in terms of specifications, the phone manage to back a huge 5000mAh battery that can deliver days of battery life.

Measuring 144.9 x 71 x 8.95 mm, the Panasonic P75 features a 5-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 1280×720. It offers dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with the company’s Sail UI. Diving in, it is driven by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, alongside with 1GB of RAM and Mali 400 MP2 GPU. There is an 8GB of built-in storage onboard that can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
At the rear, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel camera with twin-LED flash, and houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi with Hotspot, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS and Micro-USB.
The P75 will be available at online and offline stores across the region at a price of Rs 5,990 ($89 USD). It is painted in Sand Black and Champagne Gold colours. Panasonic is also offering a free screen protector with each purchase.
