LG has partnered with network carrier Verizon Wireless to launch a new budget smartphone in the United States. The LG K8V as named, is an entry-level smartphone that supports 4G LTE as well as VoLTE. It features a 5-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels and pixel density of 294ppi. On the inside, it is driven by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 (MSM8909) processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, coupled with 1.5GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU.
A 16GB of storage is planted inside for offline hosting of files, apps and data, which is further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with LG UX on top. It comes equipped with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera enhanced with various features such as Gesture Shot, Touch and Shoot, Burst Shot and more. On the front sits a 5-megapixel camera for taking selfie.

Besides 4G LTE and VoLTE, the K8V also supports Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi with Hotspot, WiFi Direct, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It measures 144.5 x 72.39 x 8.38 mm and weigh 134 grams. A 2125mAh battery turn it on.
The LG K8V is exclusively available on Verizon Wireless at a price of $144 USD. It comes in Onyx colour option only.
