Visa Types and All You Need To Know About Visas

If you’ve been alive long enough, you will definitely hear of visas. most of us already know about visas, so if you are one of those people, still stick around to give us your suggestions. And if you are the tiny majority that doesn’t know so much about visas, you are the reason why this is here!

A lot of us may not know a few facts about visas, simple information we give you here that can save your life! 
First of all, what is a visa?
A visa is a document that allows a person access to a foreign country. there are several types of visas, and that will be the basis of our discussion today. We may not be able to mention all the types of visas but we would attempt to mention a few.

Tourist Visa

Travel visas are visas that allow a person to enter a foreign country based on touristic and leisure purposes. These visas are issued for a predetermined amount of time. These visas do not grant the bearers access to work or engage in any form of business in the country they are visiting 

Work Visa

Work visas are issued to individuals who have taken an employment opportunity or are engaging in a business in a foreign country. 

Business Visa

A business visa grants the bearers access to a foreign country for business purposes without necessarily joining the country’s workforce. The visitor has to prove that they are not actively receiving income from the country they are visiting. 

Student Visa

A student visa is a type of non-immigrant visa that grants the bearer of the visa access to enroll at an educational institution in the host country. 

 Refugee/Asylum Visa

Refugee visas and asylum visas can be granted to people who have left their countries as a result of war, natural disasters, and other situations. 

Working Holiday Visa

Working holiday visas allows a person to undertake temporary employment in a country through which they are traveling.

Spousal Visa

Spousal visas allow partners to visit each other. This case is when the partners do not necessarily do not live in the same country.

Transit Visa

 A Transit visa is a visa that is required when travelers have to pass through a country that is not their destination. 

 e Visa

An e Visa, or electronic visa, is a digital visa that is stored in a database ‘ this is not stamped to the bearer’s passport.

Immigrant Vs. Non-immigrant Visas

Travel visas can be separated into two categories: immigrant and non-immigrant. An immigrant visa is a visa that allows a person permanent resident in a country, a non-immigrant visa allows a person temporary residence in a country
