Acer today has announced a new 2-in-1 convertible laptop/tablet hybrid device at the ongoing CES pre-opening event in Las Vegas named Aspire Switch 12 S (SW7-272), running Windows 10 out-of-the-box. It sports a premium anodized aluminium chasis and has a slim body profile.
The tablet features a 12.5-inch display and will be available in two resolution configurations, 4K and full-HD (1080p), depending on region and user selection. It is powered by a sixth-generation Intel Core M processor that is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of SSD storage.

In connectivity department, the Aspire Switch 12 S supports Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11ac, 2x USB 3.0 ports, USB 3.1 Type-C, micro HDMI port, Thunderbolt 3 port, and MicroSD card reader.
It will be available in the U.S from February at a starting price of $999 USD, in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) regions from February at a starting price of €1,199 ($1,295 USD), and in China at a starting price of CN¥ 6,999 ($1,050 USD).
