Facebook has dive into a personalize help service by announcing a digital assistant called “M”. Digital assistant service is not something new as we have seen some firms implemented it long before now in which Siri of Apple and Cortana of Microsoft were included. However, this is our first time of seeing a social network implementing and taking advantage of it.
The Facebook M also known as Facebook digital assistant was uncovered today, but it is still in testing stage. According to facebook, the M is a trained Artificial Intelligence service that is supervised by people, built into Messenger to help users with their daily tasks such as purchasing items, making travel arrangements, booking restaurant e.t.c on their behalf. You can even ask it today’s weather forecast which it will gladly provide.

However, there is no word yet on when it will be made available, but we do welcome the development.
