Following Apple suit last month with the launch of its first USB Type-C enabled notebook, the Chromebook Pixel, Google has again unleashed four new cheap Chrome-powered devices, the Haier Chromebook 11, Hisense Chromebook, Asus Chromebit, and Chromebook Flip. The Hisense and Haier Chromebooks are priced at $149 USD, the Asus Chromebit at about $99 USD, and the Chromebook Flip at $249 USD.

Both Haier and Hisense chromebooks sports identical specifications but differs in processor speed and battery life. The laptops features 11.6-inch display with HD resolution of 720×1280 pixels and packs quad-core Cortex A17 Rockchip RK3288 processors coupled with 2GB of RAM. There are 16GB SSD storage onboard which can be expanded via MicroSD card.
Connectivity options included are Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.0, 2x USB ports, and HDMI port. The Haier Chromebook weighs 2.54 lbs and comes with 10 hours of battery life while Hisense weighs 3.3 lbs and offers 8.5 hours of battery life.
The Asus Chromebit is a full Chrome-OS HDMI stick that turns any computer into Chrome machine, the first of its kind and a more powerful Chromecast brother. USB port, Wifi, and Bluetooth connectivity included makes it easy to be hooked up with Mouse and Keyboard for operating the device.
Diving in, the Asus Chromebit is powered by a quad-core Rockchip RK3288 processor topped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage and houses a Micro-USB port that serves as charging point. The Chrome portable Dongle stick will be available in different colors.
Lastly, the Chromebook Flip is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop/tablet hybrid device with full metal body that looks premium when behold, this reminds us of the Lenovo Yoga tablets. It features a 10.1-inch display and runs Chrome OS 42. Following others lead, the Flip is also powered by a Rockchip RK3288 quad-core processor topped with 2GB RAM, accompanied by a 16GB storage.
The Hisense Chromebook and Haier Chromebook are already on sale, they can be purchase on Walmart and Amazon.
