Samsung Adds New Budget Smartphone To Its Low Class Segment With 4G LTE

Samsung has again taken a step further in low-class mobile segment with the launch of a new Galaxy smartphone, the Win 2 Duos. The firm on Thursday announced the device in Brazil and is listed on their webpage. It comes in two versions with different pricing, the Galaxy Win 2 Duos with Digital TV support is priced at BRL 779 (Roughly $250 USD) while the other version without Digital TV is priced at BRL 729 (Roughly $235 USD). Global availability remains undisclosed.

Both variants sports identical specifications besides the Digital TV. The Galaxy Win 2 Duos features a 4.5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 480 Pixels. It support dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

Under the hood, the smartphone packs a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz alongside with 1GB of RAM. There’s a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash at the rear while it also harbours a 2-megapixel front camera. The Samsung Galaxy Win 2 Duos comes with an 8GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card and offer 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Micro-USB as connectivity options. It wrapped at the back with a 2000mAh battery.
