BlackBerry has made a new addition to its Android phone line-up in Dubai. The BlackBerry Motion as called, was unveiled at GITEX Technology Week held in the said country earlier today. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM.
The phone is wrapped in a hardened aluminium frame with soft texture back for easy grip. Notably, the Motion is BlackBerry first Android device to be water resistant certified with IP67 rating. It has a physical home key at the front below the display with BlackBerry logo engraved on it, which also harbors a fingerprint sensor underneath for smart security.

A 12MP camera is located at the back with dual-tone LED flash closely sitting besides it, while an 8MP selfie camera is equipped at the front. The 4000mAh battery included with the device is claimed by the company to renders up to 32 hours of mixed usage time in a single charge.
The Motion runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with BlackBerry’s Hub productivity suite pre-installed.
