Samsung at the ongoing Computex 2017 in Taipei made a new addition to its “Notebook” laptop series dubbed Notebook 9 Pro, running 64-bit version of Windows 10 Home. Unlike the rest in the Notebook 9 family, this has a rotatable hinge that can be use to flip the display up to 360-degree to use in tablet mode. The 2-in-1 comes bundled with S Pen with 4000 level of pressure sensitivity that can be use to write, draw, take notes, and scribble on the display.
To put the S Pen into greater use, the laptop is pre-installed with Samsung Air Command for one-touch note taking and document editing access and is also made compatible to work with Windows Ink. The pen has its own dedicated slot at the bottom for housing.

Moving on, Samsung’s new Notebook 9 Pro convertible laptop is offered in two display variants, the first featuring a 13.3-inch screen and the second a 15-inch screen, both having full-HD (1920×1080) resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio. The displays are multi-touch supported and has 178-degree wide viewing angle.
Samsung further segregate the 13.3-inch version from the 15-inch version in Graphics and RAM they both carried along. The 13.3-inch Notebook 9 Pro is loaded with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU while the 15-inch version packs 16GB of DDR4 RAM and GDDR5 AMD Radeon 540 GPU. The processor running on both however remains the same which is 7th-gen Core i7-7500U with 2.7GHz base speed that can turbo boost up to 3.5GHz. These also comes with 256GB of SSD with MicroSD slot provided to further expand the internal storage.
A 720p HD IR camera is planted at the top-front that supports Windows Facial Recognition for quick login, and is also equipped with two 1.5W stereo speakers enhanced with SoundAlive for good audio output. On the connectivity front, the Notebook 9 Pro supports 2x USB 3.0, USB Type-C, HDMI, DC-in, and Mic. It is backed by a 54Whr battery with fast charging.
There is no word on its pricing but it is expected to be available later this year.

A week after its announcement, Samsung today has revealed the pricing and availability details of its Notebook 9 Pro convertible laptop for U.S market.
The 13.3-inch model price starts at $1,099 while the 15-inch model is priced at $1,299. Both will be available for pre-orders on Best Buy from June 11 and will go on sale on June 26.
