Acer has launched two new affordable 2-in-1 convertible Windows 10 laptops, primarily aimed at students and young professionals, the Switch V 10 and Switch One 10. While their full technical specifications are still under wraps, Acer has drawn the curtains off some of their important areas.
Both device features 10-inch IPS touch display, but the V 10 is protected on the surface by Corning Gorilla Glass treated with Antimicrobial agent, a preventive measure against bacteria and other microorganisms that are likely to surface during hand operation. They sports latch-free magnetic hinge that can be hook up with keyboard, and offer four different modes, Notebook, Tablet, Tent and Display. The Switch V 10 and One 10 are powered by the latest Intel Atom (Cherry Trail) processor with up to 4GB of RAM, and comes in 32GB and 64GB built-in eMMC storage options that can be expanded via external docks (up to 500GB HDD).

Both device sports front and rear cameras. The Switch V 10 has a built-in fingerprint sensor, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band + MIMO, and USB Type-C connectivity, which the other lacked. The One 10 is claimed by Acer to last up to 8 hours in a single charge.
The Acer Switch V 10 and Switch One 10 comes with a starting price of $249 USD and $199 USD, respectively. They will be available in North America and Europe in July, and in Asia in September.
