Asus today announced a new gaming laptop in India called R510JX, which was initially introduced in some markets few months ago. The device wears a price cap of Rs 69,990 ($1,070 USD), however, its availability details is yet to be confirmed by the company.
The Asus R510JX features a 15-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, touting aspect ratio of 16:9 and 200 nits brightness. It is powered by a fourth generation Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor with a base clock speed of 2.6GHz that can turbo boost up to 3.6GHz, paired with Intel HD Graphics 4400, a dedicated 2GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M Graphics, and 4GB of DDR3 RAM. Notably, the notebook runs 64-bit version of Windows 10 operating system and comes equipped with Intel HM86 Express Chipset.

The discrete GeForce 950M graphics card is based on Nvidia new Maxwell architecture that includes Nvidia Battery Boost Technology, Nvidia GPU Boost 2.0, Nvidia Optimus Technology, and GeForce Experience and GameStream. The Asus R510JX comes bundled with a 1TB 5400rpm SATA Hard Disk Drive. It sports a VGA webcam and offer WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0 as wireless connectivity. Other connectivity options present are USB 2.0 port, 2x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output port, RJ-45 connector, and VGA port.
The device measures 38.0 x 25.1 x 2.92 – 3.17cm and weighs 2.45kg. It is fuelled by a 4-cell 44Whr Li-ion battery.
